Eckardt & Mentz / 1864-1945
One of the oldest German gnome manufacturers who produced quality gnomes from 1864 to 1945. They made their gnomes in ceramic clay and the quality of their craftsmanship was quite superb and can be seen in this rare 1929 Eckardt & Mentz catalogue shown below.
They manufactured their ceramic figures in Waldstr.12 Germany. Further information on this company is very limited and their gnomes are even more scarce.
