The gnome is made of a heavy cast metal and measures 21" inches tall and 7-1/2" inches across the base.  Brought over from Germany after WWII. No marking or name can be found on him. This gnome has never been painted. The gnome has  his hand open to hold a flag or something or maybe a fishing gnome and is wearing a satchel (fishing bag) on his side.

An antique original plaster mould for a beautiful traditional head of a garden gnome, made about 1920 - 1930 by Philipp Griebel, Gräfenroda,Thuringia, Germany. The mould is from the archives of Erich Griebel, West Germany, and was used later by the First German Garden Gnome Museum for demonstration purposes.

A stunning and very rare gnome group of gnomes and pigs originally intended as an advertising display for a Shop window display for a butchers shop. Made in earthenware c 1920 (or earlier) it comes in the original old wooden box. The gnomes are over painted totally, no original painting left and   made in Thuringia.  The Gnome measures approximately 15 1/4" high The Scene in total 15 3/4" at the widest point.
They are not marked, not unusual for this kind of item made in Germany, Found on a Estate Sale in Nuremberg, Germany

Vintage ceramic Zeho Gnome made in Germany and measures 13inches tall.  Paint missing

West Germany marked gnome with cart planter vase made of a terra cotta or redware pottery and typical of Heissner, though the sticker once on the base is gone. 61/2 inches tall and there are a few tiny flakes of paint missing, but still very nice with no chips or cracks

Mixed catalogue of various gnome manufacturers c.1965 made by a wholesale dealer. The sheet is approx.. 21 x 27 cm largely (above probably address cut off). On the front ' garden dwarves made of plastics ' of the company Puma Plachy & Materne, on the back of ' garden dwarves made of ceramic(s) ' are, probably all the company Spang.

2 Large Vintage Heissner Garden Gnomes The first Gnome with the horn, appears to have no structural damage. There is damage to the finish, which is mainly on his face, hands, and arms. He is about 15 1/2" tall and about 7" wide. The tag on the back is worn. The second Gnome with the ferns does also have some damage.

The display is 4 3/4“ high and 7 1/4"wide. The Gnomes are handmade of a composition of papier maché, plaster, size or glue and/or clay etc.  The Landscape is made of wood. Manufactured in the region of the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge), Germany, about 1940´s could be older and were used for Christmas Decorations. They are not marked.

New York cast iron Gnome door stopper. 12" tall. Shows plenty of age. his back has some good pitting. There are some hints of paint left on the front.

Postcard by Artist Ferdinand of Munich. A very beautiful original water colour was probably used around 1880. The water colour originates from archives from Carl Mayer' s institute for art, Nuremberg. mono gram of Ferdinand (Merrekül/Estland - Munich)  size  approx. 12 x 18 cm, dated, around 1880.

This rare antique door stop is cast entirely from lead. Using lead for doorstops started prior to the 19^th century. (lead figures were still being made in the 1940’s.

The gnome is not marked and is made in two parts. It is very heavy and the paint is original.

It stands about 10” high and about 5” wide.

Vintage fish bowl made in Yellow ware and hand ground glass bowl. The bowl is marked 'Made in Germany and has two lolling gnomes on the rim. Size 5 1/2inches x 5 1/2inches
