Circa 1900 Johann Maresch Company
This fabulous  Hand painted Gnome was created by the famous Czechoslovakian Earthenware Maker. Number 3676 Johann Maresch, began his crafting in 1841 in Aussig, Elbe Bohemia. From 1899 Ferdinand Maresch was the master and created many majolica and terracotta pieces. Approximately 7-7/8ths inches tall, 2-11/16ths inches across the bottom of it's base.

This lovely and fanciful little Hand painted Gnome figural lugging the barrel on his shoulder was created by the famous Czechoslovakian Earthenware Maker Number 6908 approximately 7-7/8ths inches tall, 2-3/8ths or so across the base.

The gnome is numbered on the back of the legs  12252. approximately 7-5/8ths inches tall, 2-3/8ths or so across the base.

Made by HEISSNER. Germany  Stands 12" tall.  The gnome is sitting on a stump, holding a lantern.   Great condition with original paint.  There is minor paint loss on the left knee, a fleck missing on the front of the hat 1/2" above the hairline, and a small piece of paint gone in the middle of the chest.  There are no cracks.  Paint is bright and does not appear to ever have been outside.

A brightly coloured Terracotta garden gnome measures 15-1/2" in height, and was made in Germany,  probably made by Heissner, although  there is no mark on it.   It has nearly all of its original paint and there are no chips or cracks in it.

1950's Spang gnome 11.5 inches tall garden gnome, He has a pipe in one hand and a rake in his other hand (the rake is made from wood, although the rake is intact, the head does fall off so would need to be mended or replaced). I think the gnome is made of pottery, clay or terracotta, and is a hollow but heavy figure (as shown in base photo), weight is 915gms.
