Kidnapped gnomes found safe and well

 

Two women in Stirling, Scotland have been charged, after police discovered a stash of more than 40 gnomes, which were thought to have been gnome-napped from homes in Central Scotland.

People in Stirling, Clackmannanshire and Falkirk have been complaining that their garden ornaments, including Hedgehogs, Rabbits and Gnomes were being stolen.

The discovery was made after an 11 day police investigation into a spate of green fingered thefts..  More than 100 items were found in the house, including over 40 figures and animals, over 60 plant pots, as well as 25 solar powered lights.

Police have said that they will endeavour to ensure that the Gnomes, and all their animal friends are returned to their rightful homes.
