Louis Romeiss
A very rare and outstanding gnome, made about 1900 by Louis Romeiss, Graefenroda, Thuringia, Germany. The gnome is made of earthenware and hand painted very carefully. The height is about 11", the base measures about 4 ½" x 3", weight about 1 ¼ lbs. The gnome is not marked.
